The language of theater is the language of connection, of listening, of (simply put) Life. It is possible to never stop learning, discovering, and sharing; and just as society is in a state of constant change, so too does the language of theater evolve and adapt to ever-changing social needs. The challenge is to rekindle and bring to life a sense of wonder—one that is unique to each individual and each performance. In every show I write, there is laughter, reflection, and fun; the energy of laughter fosters a sense of free closeness, and in this era of distancing, injustice, and constant masking, Truth—like a crumb of health—can be found in a glance, a sensation of an embrace, like taking care to feel safe in a place where you might suddenly find yourself.
